Over the last year, I’ve been following through on a past passion of mine: Video. I’ve taken the time to get trained in Adobe After-Effects and Premiere. I’ve even dabbled in sound design with Adobe Audition. I was allowed to design and set up a mini video recording suite at Rattleback. I researched the technology we would need from cameras to lighting to microphones and software. For the most part we use it to create explainer videos on our blog, but we’ve been slowly putting it out there for client consumption. This is the first big promotional video project I’ve worked on from start to finish. From script to storyboard to finding and directing voice talent to editing and motion graphics to the final output. I’m pretty proud of the way it came together. Hopefully there are more projects like this in the future.
